Auto Attendant answer time and music on hold

Changing the auto attendant off hook delay causes the auto attendant to answer in 2-3 US rings. Is there a way for it to answer sooner (prefer immediately)?

Also, when transfering to a extension, is there a way to have music instead of ringing?

Hi siptech

For your first question, the timer to answer a call thrugh AA is this. You don't have another timer for it.
For your second question, try this: at system miscellaneous --> feature design --> part 3 --> hold tone for external calls --> check if it is as MUSIC.

If you have a 4635voice mail you need to have voice guide 2 for MOH. It won't work unless VG2 is setup. What type of VM do you have?

I have to same problam ,One of my client wants to Autoatt call directed to the extension , he wants to hear the ring back tone for out sider

hola... tambien tengo el mismo problema de que cuando ingresa una llamada el cliente desea que conteste directamente y que no suene 2 veces como esta ahora... se puede solucionar eso cambiando algun tiempo???

Hi.

i know it's a old thread, but for future reference, helping out anyone who comes across this problem:

system miscellaneous --> feature design --> part 3 --> hold tone for external calls --> check if it is as MUSIC
system miscellaneous --> feature design --> part 2 --> Ringing Tone for External Calls --> unchecked

Worked for me.
