I am having a problem about a hunting group with 8 multiline sets that i want to make them ring in parallel.

Any suggestions?

Multi-line sets cannot be in a parallel huntgroup.

Perhaps you could use set supervison keys.
- Create a virutal set (set type 4035 virtual).
- Create a set supervision key on each of the multi-line keys, which supervises the virtual set.
- As soon as the set is rung, all 8 sets will start to ring in parallel.

Con: The user has to pick up the call by pressing the created supervision key, rather then just lifting the handset.

Or manage MLA (searh in doc MLA).

Or make sets mono-line.

Frank very clever but how can i provide the sets with caller id?because if i do this only after pressing the supervision key the caller id will appear.am i right?

I'm not sure which caller id you want to use for the extensions.
If you want to sent the virtual set caller id, you can use the personal number option (user parameter).
Keep in mind that this only works for external calls! Internal call will present the internal number.

As soon as you use the MLA option Vad mentioned, you can call with the MLA caller id after pressing the MLA button.

I believe if the supervision keys are set to ring on the other phones then the caller ID will appear but if the key is not set to ring then you won't see it.
