Dear Alcatel certified Guru’s
Appreciate if you comment your idea’s for following problem.
Alcatel OXE R.9 Common hardware 4 large shelf. Shelf no 3 marked in red color.
When we make internal call from shelf 3 to another shelf couldn’t answer and can’t hear other party voice. But when we call from shelf 3 extension to shelf 3 it’s working fine. And other 3 shelf’s also working fine.

are the IP-Parameters (Gateway, Subnetmask) correct? Is a ping from the red shelf to another shelf ok (routing)?
Do you have VLAN-config?
Is an error at the call-time in incvisu logged?

IP-Parameters and Gateway, Subtetmask is correct. i can ping red shelf to other shelf and other shelf to red shelf.

No VLAN created, actually this is new installation still not completed. i have created 4 extension in each shelf just for testing.

no error logged at the call-time in incvisu?

Yes Frank, Shelves 4 and 5 are extension of shelf 3 or 2 ?

Do both shelves have a number of compressors assigned?
Check the No. of Compressors for IP Devices on the GD/GA boards.

If there a no compressors available, you will get a 'silent' call.

Are there any MADA boards present? Are they operational?

Please check with "config all -d". I've seen it on-site where the mada board wasn't fitted correctly. Also no audio.

Yes, 1 MADA board in GA card and 1 MADA board in GD card.

can you show output with "config all" and "compvisu lio" command. For voice you need to declare MADA board and some compressors for IP devices.
