TAPI with OmniPCX Office

I want to write CTI app. which communicate with the PBX (OmniPCX Office Medium) using TAPI. I wrote a call monitoring program and can see extensions. But I also want to show trunk (CO lines) based events. Is there any special licence for this.
In my program I can see which trunks are used with other PBX (like LG, NEC...) but I can not with OmniPCX.

If i'm not mistaken you need CSTA license to do so.
Tapi is single extension only, CSTA is system wide monitoring.
Take a look at amigo software. They make some nice things.

I think; if you use 1st party TAPI license, yes, you can only one extension. But with 3rd party TAPI license you should be able to monitor all extensions.

henk1964 is right, for that you have to use the csta-protocol of the apcxoffice.
pimphony operator eg. pimphony team will show you all extensions, but therefore you need a license.

Hi,
If I install only Alcatel TSP without PIMphony at user desktops, do I need tapi license then? I'm using OXO rel7.1
Tks.

As I know TAPI doesn´t work without a PIMphony installation. You don´t have to use PIMphony, but you need the systemsroutes that PIMphony writes during the installation, befor you install the TAPI driver and you have to install the TAPI driver from a commandlinewindow.

Hello SimaWB,
I Don´t know, how to send Private Massage, so here the Info in your Post.
The Tapi can be used in single mode, without Pimphony.
You need the latest PimPhony 6.3 for the installation procedure.
If you need ( or s.o. ) contact me or write it just down here.

Thanks for the replies, guys.
Does it mean I don't TAPI license to utilise Alcatel TSP alone with other PIMs/ client apps?
I have 2 different response from Alcatel from 2 different people within same email.
To be on safer side, I'll have to quote TAPI license then, even though I have tested
that client apps works with Alcatel TSP alone, without PIMphony and TAPI license.
Thank you and Regards,
Sam

Hi Sam,
You don´t have to USE PIMphony, but you need the systemsroutes that PIMphony writes in registry during the installation, befor you install the TAPI driver over commandline.
If your customer uses another PIM that is not compatible to Alcatel´s Tapi directly, you use the dialer.exe from windows. In dialer you can configure the phoneline to alcatel.

Thomas

Hi There,
On Windows 7 and Windows Visat you HAVE TO use the command line parameters, because, the entrys in the regestry were still made, but have no effect for the TSP installation. It has to do something with the Vista/7 handling with the installation routine.
My understanding was, that no Program gets access to the live regestry on setup. first after windows checkup somethings the new entrys are copied to the live regestry.
