How to reset the alcatel 4400 PBX v24 port ?

For some reasion the the alcatel 4400 pbx's v24 port was doesn't work,what can I do to reset the v24 port without reboot the alcatel 4400?

If 4400 and ComB, ComC or ComD. You can try "ttyconf" command, you can change current state to "off" and after to "respawn".
And another command "v24_config".
Sometimes maybe intresting to "kill" process (application) which occupy this port (f.e. "mgr" through analog modem on ComB - if link will disconnected - you will have "hang up" mgr process on tty1a port and for repairing will be enough to kill "mgr" process).

as Vad said, there are the two commands (depending on S/W version) available.
What ports are you using, eg C/D, or maybe using a TA? Do you have CPU duplication? What application are you tring to run on the port? Can you echo to the port from a terminal connection?
