Metering on IP (windows 2008 server)

Hi All,

I have a problem with metering on IP.
I install the OLD on windows 2008 server, SP 1, 32 bits.
The tickets are not coming in from OXO.
Then i try to install OLD on Win XP, and it works.

Is there any tricks to setup windows 2008 server?
Or windows 2008 server is not compatible with OLD?

I use OLD ver 2.3.2, and 2.3.3. Both of them doesnot work.

Thank you

Hi synio

I didn't find any documentation about OLD and the OS 2008 server. I had a documentation from 2006 who talks about the OS. It tells that the OLD works with windows 2000 server SP1, windows 2003 server and windows 2003 server SP1. It is possible that OLD still doesn't work with windows 2008 server.

Best regards.

Hi Enio and all of you,

I also did not find any documentation regarding this issue.
But, the problem has solved (not 100% solved).
The "ticketcollector" file is not in C:\Program Files\Alcatel\OHL Driver.
It was placed automatically by the software or OS in c:\users\public\.... (sorry, i've forgot the directory because it's solved by my friend).
We have changed the directory setting on "OhlDriver.conf" file.
The tickets is still not coming in to XML file.
But, if we use 3rd party billing system software, the ticket is coming in.
I do not know, why this is happen.
The important thing, the 3rd party software can display/generate telephone cost reporting. Because they use this software to get the reports.

Thx.

Hi everybody,
Is there any improvement about OLD/OHL driver working with Windows7 OS.
Is it still an old( :) ) application?
It can not register itself to the windows and related service does not appear in services. It can not write any log.txt. Application has write rigths to related directories.
Regards.

You have to use 2.3.5 OLD version.

The Launch Application has to be started with rightMouse / AdminRights, othewise the Service Status is wrong displayed and the Password is not saved successfull.
