If you load your image from external, you can change the version and config file during boot.
My BOF file looks like this

To extract the software, you need to create a new VM, and upload the image to your FTP server, or perhaps convert the .qemu2 file to something that is possible to open with some sort of ISO software and copy it from there.

Handy script to save your configs automagically. I've set this to 1680 seconds, so every 28 minutes.

My QEMU doesnt run while I run more than one router at GNS3. Anyone know the cause and how to slove it ?

It can be run easily in GNS3. Just use the latest version of GNS3 and config the QEMU from GNS3. For me, if i set memory = 1024 MB only then the virtual 7750 SR can be booted. Other values fail me every time. But the real problem is "rebooting". For me just after 1/2 minutes the virtual 7750 SR reboots again. Is there any solution for this? Or its just memory problem?

show system licence will tell you how much time is left before the reload. If it says 60 minutes at bootup time but it crashes then your problem is elsewhere I would think

FYI. ALU recommends 4096mb per one VM but this is most likely to support most features at once. I use to assign 2048mb but recently I ran into insufficient memory warnings when I had OSPF, OSPFv3, MPLS (LDP+RSVP) and some L2 services running simultaneously. The router barked at me when I wanted to enable MPBGP for VPRNs. I assigned 2560mb and it turned out to be enough.

2048 MB per each VM is fine for me. I run GNS3 with Mac OSX 10.9.5 Mavericks. So far I did not try Multicast but all the rest is working fine.

I'm trying to setup two SRs with MC-Lag, but for some odd reason it just wont work. Anyone got this to work? When the link between them is no shutdown, the lag in both machines are in standby, if I disconnect the cable, both are active.

I'm using gns3 1.2.3

I can ping between them, OSPF works, MPLS works and I can LSP ping between them. MC-Lag is up and running

anyone got a clue? A theory I have is that both have the same base mac address, and that somehow fucks it up, but I don't know.

Has anyone got MC-Lag to work using the Virtual SROS? I can get OSPF, MPLS to work and the MC-Lag is up, but the lag is standby in both machines. If I turn off the port between them, both go in active mode.

I've tried gns3 v1.2.3, as well as the virtual manager program using the xml files to build the links between them, no difference.
