Hi Every one.
I have about hundred of 4008 IP Touch with the software version 3.71.70. With this version of firmware I can not find way to enable sip. If anyone has the newer firmware and know how to upgrade firmware for them then please help.

Thank you

Hi All!!

We could upgrade several 4018 phones to connect to Asterisk and everything is working except that the devices do not emit the sound of the ring when someone calls the extension.

On the phone log, we have the following message:

000-00:06:15.560 AUDIO: wavMgt_readOpen: ring00.wav not found!

Has anyone experienced this?

Now MWI, Voicemail and missed calls are working.
Did you manage the Forward to VM to work? Mine uses the same URI as the voicemail key. Any workaround?

Hi,

I am fairly new to the 4XX8 Phones, I have got one 4008 working with my asterisk pbx but I have 4028 and 4038 phones available.
I checked a 4028 and it is on firmware 3.7 with no sip compatibility.
From what I understand it needs to be at firmware 4.0 or higher to be sip compatible.

Can anyone share a 4.0 or higher firmware and tell me how to upgrade?

Hello community,

I've got a Alcatel 4068 running in SIP mode. Although reading and testing multiple config files I haven't got a solution to get this phone completely up and running with my asterisk.
What I've done:
Setted up DHCP Server with all mandatory options and setted up TFTP server. The config files I used were provided by Renoud and andibiront. (Thanks so far guys for your great support, even if this thread is kind of old)

What do I need now? I've loaded up the config files sipconfig.txt and sipconfig-<mac-address>.txt to my tftp server. The phone boots, loads the ip-settings, provided by server and terminates in 3/5 with "Invalid Parameters", "gen conf file proc", like a member before.

Currently this is my sipconfig and sipconfig-<mac> file:

[basic]

[dns]

dns_addr=192.168.1.197
dns2_addr=192.168.1.196
hostname=alcatel_0080

[sip]

domain_name=pbx.lab.local
proxy_addr=pbx.lab.local
proxy_port=5060
local_sip_port=5060
sip_transport_mode=0
sip_transport_mode_survi=0
local_rtp_port=6000
local_rtcp_port=6001
preferred_vocoder=0,8,4,18
authentication_realm=201
authentication_name=201
authentication_password=zenT201
user_name=201
display_name=Phone 201

[telnet]

telnet_password=

[init]

application_mode=0

[audio]

tone_country=1

[appl]

admin_password=

Any suggestions? Can someone please provide firmware or else I need? Any help would be appreciated!! :)

Thank you all.

Hi everyone,

I have a 4028EE switched to SIP fmwr and 2 questions regarding SIP fmwr.

1) I managed to feed it with datsip4028G and noesip4028G from some OXE 11.x release. Was it a correct way to switch so SIP fmwr ? BTW phone still complains during boot on lack of some files.

2) After telnet to phone an id command shows:
main 2.12.20 SIP
soft 4.32.70 NOE
*sipc 2.12.20 SIP
data 2.12.20 SIP
load 4.32.70
range SIP
type B
platform Gigabit
extended yes

I have an reREGISTRATION issue similar to one described here viewtopic.php?t=20760
Any chance someone with earlier/later fmwr can check whether it exists on their fmwr ?

Thanks.
Regards,

Pavel.
