Error coming when creating the External numbering Plan....

Can you please tell me that what is meant by range , because i think i added wrong range number....for Some extension i added 1 ,19,3, like that....

Range is that, a range of numbers. For example if you put initial number = 1 and a range of 4 will be like saying 1,2,3,4.

But when i creating DID for 523 with 19 is coming the error...

note when you create ext 516 intern 1516 range 19 , even you don't seen them but automaticlly you have alsocreate those external numbers from 517 to 534 ; and u created auytomaticlly the corespendent internal numbers from 1517 to 1534
so normal that you got this error becuase ext 523 is included [516 534]

in your case you can not mixe suchus
you have to create external from 516 , internal1516 range 5 (so from 522all other sould be excluded)
you have to create external 523 internal 523 range 19, if you select this range(19 number) so from 523 to 541 all those numbers 'still exiting should be removed before especially those

imagine in the actual situation and pbx has accept you config 516,1516,19 and 523,523,19 for same operator when an incoming call ask for 520 ,the pbx willbe in hell to where route this call to 1520 or to 520!!
