You configure in OXE a domain with ipp's and give settings for relm/dns/proxy etc on the user you configure sip user number and passord. when the phone looses connection to the CS it looks for the sip server/proxy and connects to that. When the ipp sees the CS it switches back to the OXE. it is meant to be used in a remote site that has a sip gateway as a backup path to the outside world when the link to the OXE is down. As far as I know at present there is no way to configure the 4008/18 as stand alone sip unless you set them up and remove the OXE.

Hello,
I'm struggling trying to configure a 4068G phone. I'm using TFTP protocol and the phone tries to download some binary files. A file name bin4068G seems to be mandatory. Does anyone have it in some place?

I have an ip touch 4068EE and I'm facing a problem with its binary files , it always keeps looking for noesip4068G , bin4068-header ,noesip4068G-header,bin4068G
any kind of help is appreciated

you need an alcatel-lucent callserver to get this phone working.
