i had some issues with 8001. so what i did was i had to use a POE injector. (the POE switch) didnt work. so maybe the power output of the sswitch wasnt enough.

Could you please share the firmware you are using for 8001G phone? We're having the same issues as described here previously, some are stuck without anything on LCD, some with RED LED lights on, and some turns on, but hangs after a while.

There is no solution. POE injector works for a few but otherwise these phones are dead. Alcatel has no solution.

Hi, I submitted a service request to Alcatel, and they sent me this procedure, it works for 2 of three phones that have this probleme.

Already tried this and was able to save one in 50 phones. This doesn't work if kernal is already latest.
