Call Distribution ³
³ ³
³ Overflow Routing No. : -------- >>>HERE
the number of overflow must be a single line , not a part of set group or S0

In The beggining many thanks for you Haroun you have helped me a lot so far.

"
for incoming you have to check with you provider and be sure that the routing number is on service

to manage over flow for external
in access cos (first level in the tree cos) according to what user have as public access right (fe 2) you can see lot of paramaters depending in the type of the line(did, lia, nddi) there you can authorize overflow on busy , on no aswer and waiting on busy etc
for the overflow directory i think should be the attendant or a set that you have to config it on the respective entity
for tg wich by default entity numbr is 0 and user's entity (guess entity number is number one) or may be same for both."

But you kind of lost me on this to be honest.
I will tell you what is required so mybe you can give me some more details because I cannot get thru entity setting and attendant setting.

I do have trunk #9 which is receiving calls from outside on ext.6644. But if there will be no answer for external incoming call I would like to have this call redirected automatically to next extension 5031 and if this one will not answer as well it should go to next extension 5557.

It si getting now even more difficult
I do have tg5 which has 3 external lines with incoming calls.
1# external number incoming call is comming to assigned ext.1000 if no answerd it will be routed to ext.6666 then if this one will no answer it will go to 8003 then if not answerd to 8001 then if not answerd to 5011 and if no answerd to 5021.
2# external number incoming call is coming again to assigned ext.1000 and if not answerd it should go to ext. 4410 then iof not answerd to ext. 6611 and if not answerd 6678
3# it will just come to ext. 1000 and will not be routed anywhere else.
Is that even possible to do ????? ( I ve been asked to try to do that)

I ve set this 3 external numbers to one tg#5 because these all are comming to ext. 1000

I do have Entity 0 and Entity 1 configured the same way and as far as I can see it has just only one number for forwarding on no answer.

HI
DO NOT WORRY I HAVE ALSO THIS .
type checkdb command if yu have only entity error so no problme.
for forwarding external incoming call let me do test because as i have understand it's overflow from extension to extension (not for entity ) but only for external call

Hell Hauron

Well I tried with entity but as far as I get it to get it was routing to one more number after 5 ring backs and that was it. It might be going futher if you will set associated set to on the user which incoming call was routed to.
Coming back to common preffix for all tgroups and overflow setting from one to another (I did it yesterday) but I got hickup today and I kind of get stuck. Mostlikely few peopels been usnig external lines at the same time and on one extension which was trying to attempt dedicated and allowed trunk (by public network category) was showing Cogestion. I have checked a set up because I thought that I messed up something with setting but it was fine. And if I used substitution from my telephone (Pub net cat 31 full access) and pretend to be that particular extension I was able to get it. Do you have any ideas why it happened? and where should I look for a reason?

One more thing what I would like to ask you :
Do you know by any chance how to set up hold no answered incoming call and make a forward to other extension with this incomin call.
I.e. extenison 1000 will receive incoming external call. Someone will answer this phone and then he will put his call on hold and forward it to requested extension.

Many thx for you support
