The last time I checked, you cannot load a CPU3 (or CPU2 for that matter) with PC Installer tool !
What am I missing here?

kn1ghtrider I'm not taking any drugs.

This morning I've done that using "compatible version" (one of the ones described by Eliott. So my CPU3 became a GD on my laboratory with full features.
I'll try to make a how to to describe my steps (they are though described in a TC which I'll try to find and upload on pastebin). I don't think would be a problem to make it CS eather.
Regards.

OK - I think I understand. But why would you want to use f.e. a CPU3 as a GA or GD?
Is it just incase you might need a GD and you don't have one, you can use a CPU3 instead and run a Media Gateway shelf of a CPU3?

knightr1der: tot3nkopf is talking about a CPU3 from OXO. If I understoud well, you think that he is talking about an old CPU3 from Crystal hardware.

Freedom,
Of course when you tried to upgrade the board, you moved the jumpers, as requested in the doc. ?
