if there are two extensions running on the same cable, then make one of the extns out f serv. by givin shelf, board, eqpmnt addrss as 255.
then establish call to other extn, if the problem is resolved, then u will hv to shift one f the digital extn to another cable.

Yes, for the digital we only can use 25 pairs from 50 pairs multiple cable, caused if all the pairs used then the handset won't function, one pair used next pair doesn't, and so on,........

But still the noise heard,........

you can use 50 or 100 pair cable..b/w MDFs and Patch Panels... it z normal... but at the last patch panel.. i.e. between this patch panel and room,, no two digital extns must be running on the same cat3 or cat5 cable.... it gives problems ( cross talk) somtimes ....

Hi Mustafa,

We use one cable cat6 for each of the phone line from patch panel to the workstation, so it's not the problem I guess, I'm not sure about the multipair, since pairs in one pair cable is not much as twisted as in the cat6 cable or even cat3, but it said a good one brands and it's widely used here for the PBX instalation purpose, which is might be the cause of crosstalk, will try another kind of cable for the next installation, thanks.

If the below is true, you should be able to figure out where the cross talk is coming from, sounds like on your last feeder or on the patch panel.

If doing test on the MDF closest to the Card (Z or UA) no noise heard, the noise only heard on the user, after hops 2 MDF and 1 patch panel , we use multipair cable to connect between the MDF on each floor, on one cable run 50 or 100 pairs line, Is it normal for the line connection ?

This is simply a cabling issue, isolate and eliminate.

Yes, I think so it's the cable, but too many cable pairs to isolate, I thought maybe there are another way to reduce this crosstalk thing, so it won't affected too much.......
