What country in the world would forbid encryption !?

This may be an outdated list, but this is what I could find of countries that have banned or restrict encryption:
Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Burma, Belarus, China, Morocco, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Ukraine.
Some of these countries make you apply for a license, so not completely banned, but restricted. Others completely forbid it.

I'm not sure if SecureCRT is a solution if putty isn't allowed.
It's a great piece of software that could be used for multiple telnet sessions in one screen, but also supports ssh.
So if you're not allowed to use putty, you probably have the same issue with SecureCRT.
Another con for this software is that it isn't freeware! You have to purchase a license to be able to use it on

Hola,
I have always been using Putty. Its quits simple and easy to use, but it does not hold many extra features.
Therefor I went googlehunting and found "Xshell" Check it out here:
http://www.netsarang.com/products/xsh_overview.html
Best terminaltool I have ever used.
- Auto login/password on the OXE
- Auto timout 0
- Auto triggers any script you set
- Hold as many sessions as you want
- Customizied bar for shortcut keys. incvisu, trkstat, sipregister, swinst, you name it.
and no, I dont work for em...
