How to Load Voice Mail

Hi bigmac

I have checked config 18, both board are in service, and i have created voice mail directory as well, but the thing is when i dial vm directory number it says the number dial is not authorized.

after that getting error: INIT: Warning: Too many lines in log file, some has been lost
timed out waiti

Do you have a MADA card or compressors on your GD card?It would appear not as 4645 requires a compressor to work this will be your issue

Hi oldboy,

yes, i have mada in gd, when i dial voice mail access prefix or voice mail consult prefix the voice guide says the number dial is not authorized. is anyone experience this kind of problem.

But do you have the compressors turned on? The errors above indicate that there are no Time Slots between the shelves meaning no compressors.

also check that the number of compressors that are licenced

To create a MailBox use the cmd "Eva_tools", if Voicemail application 4645 is in other CS (like an appliance server) Don't forget to configure Host files.
To check compressor use the cmd "compvisu lio" and other tools.

Or all compressors declared for external GW (or MADA used for conferences).
Look with commands - "config all" and "compvisu lio"

Hi All

Again i have insert MADA-1 card, but still i voice mail not working, example when i pickup the handset it says you have voice mail consult mailbox please dial 43, when i dial 43 again hearing the voice guide the number dial is not authorized. and getting flowing error.

For VM not enough just insert MADA. Show GD management (MADA type, compressors for GW, IP devices, number of conference)
and outputs with commands "compvisu lio", " config all", "config 1 0 -d" (if you use GD in position 1-0).
