1.Before take the backup you have to rebuild it ...go to the directory /DHS3data/mao. (xa00000>cd /DHS3data/mao) run the command "fichges force_recover_dico".

2.Take the backup in normal way.

3.Loard R9.1 Linux on new HD. If you are going to use same HD which is giving error, better to format by using "grubboot ETHER" in root level.

4.load the backup.(don't creat an empty database)

5. set to auto start telephone & reboot the cs.(you can see the database translation)

6.Load the new OPS & reboot the cs.

If you are going to take backup to load on higher release than the existing release, before run the backup you have to rebuild the data base by running this commamd in directory /DHS3data/mao.(if existing release>1.5.2)

Hi,

You should restore DB (configuration) first After that you have to restore ops file.

on the Rel 7.0 did you do a fichges force_recover_dico before backing up the database, this rebuilds that database and often cures any issues when restoring
on to a higher release.

Yep ,I did the same way to upgrade from R6.2 to R9.1 & R8.0 to R9.0
Both the upgradation was success.

Thanx.

Finally I have migrated the system from R7.0 to R9.1 following the steps that jchandana mentioned above.
The procedure terminated successfully.
There are only some problems.
One of them is the missing of 4760i which is a version problem.
And the next, as I am informed there are no Voice Guides.
Do I have to upload them from beginning?
Anyway I thank all of you helping me to resolve this problem.

Regards,
Klodjan

Not to sure about the 4760i issue but if you have started from scratch you will need to reload your voice guides, depending on your hardware you will need to put in the guides in the following.
cd /usr7/vgadpcm/flash/std (OXE)
cd /usr7/vg/flash/std (4400)
Dont use the 4760i , have you enabled it ?

Rob
