Hi Patmul

It would be a great help if you can provide the kind of setup you have .

1 Is the windows 2008 on which the exchange 2007 hosted is a Domain Controller ?
2 Do you have a separate domain controller ?
3 How have you managed the user rights and the domain security policy ? How did the security policy is managed ? is it managed both on the local machine and the domain controller if different servers are used ?

I am still getting the http: 401 error in the 2007 connector logs - as if the user is not allowed by the exchange 2007 ?

Hi,

did not read the whole thread but I also had the 401 error

try using Domain name for the ICSaccess user

MYDOMAIN\ICSaccess

This did the trick for me.

Hi Guys

Sorry for this late update . Finally we had solved the issue by getting an unofficial patch from R & D .
By default the Exchange 2007 connector uses the default domain of the exchange server for the CAS account [ NxMbxmanager ] and this works fine for almost all the standard installation .But there are clients who have differnet domains for users and as well as for computers and in this case the connector will not be able to work so we need to define the NxMbxmanager domain ,etc.So using the conf.pro under exchange 2007 connector folder on ICS server we can add and with the new connector.jar file everythings worked perfect
