R14.0.R3 also does some changes in port MTU's that mismatches R13.

SROS 13:

Code: Select all

*A:SR02# show port 1/1/1 | match MTU
Physical Link : Yes MTU : 8936

*A:SR02# configure port 1/1/1
*A:SR02>config>port# info
----------------------------------------------
        description "SR01; 1/1/1"
        ethernet
        exit
        no shutdown
----------------------------------------------
SROS 14

Code: Select all

A:SR01# show port 1/1/1 | match MTU
Physical Link : Yes MTU : 8704
A:SR01# \configure port 1/1/1
A:SR01>config>port# info
----------------------------------------------
        description "SR02; 1/1/1;"
        ethernet
        exit
        no shutdown
----------------------------------------------
Causes issues to my OSPF topology.

Hi,
To get you 14.0R3 working as VM, did you install a license? I.e. no like previous releases which did not require a license but it rebooted every hour.

Thanks

Hi Stoffen,
For vSROS 14R*...how do you configure UUID for the SROS VM in GNS3. My understanding the license file is keyed to the UUID value.
Assuming you have vaild demo license file and UUID values, how can one configure this to work in GNS3.
Your help will be really apprecaited in this case. I am assuming this how you got your vSROS 14 running in GNS3. Correct.

Thanks in advnaced.

Hi.
I don't use GNS3 on my setups, as I have a dedicated Linux server with KVM/QEMU where I run my devices.
But you can set UUID as a parameter of the QEMU image you are running.

uuid=E0A32395-8DFE-D511-8C31-001FC641BA6B

Hi all,

I can see from the posts here it requires a licence but couple of questions:

1. Where can you get the image & licence from
2. How much is the Licence

Thanks

Martin

You need to ask your Nokia/Alcatel supplier for a price for a VSR-SIM license (3HE09497BA)
