business hours

Post by cowrea »

Greethings,

im not quiet shure if i've chosen the right sub-forum.

I've got a Alcatel OmniPCx.

One employee told me that he wasn't able to call his colleague in the early morning hours.
He called the phonenumber but it just rings about 4 times, then a voice said to him in german that he's trying to call someone out of business hours and he should try it later again. (About 2:00, Sunday)

I testet it myself, but i was able to let the same phone ring for about 3min. I checked it 14:00(Monday), maybe this would be the different.

Now my questions.
Could i define "business hours"?
How does it work?
Could i set some different "business hours"?
Am i looking for the right thing?

I'm not shure how to handle it.

Thanks

Hi,

you can manage the bussiness hours in the entities. You can manage a calendar for incoming calls and another one for outgoing calls...

The COS of users who belong this entity follow this state...

Entity/ Incoming state hours and outgoing state hours - you can manage day/nights/attendant status
Attendant set (if exist) - can switch entity state
In Public network COS/Access COS - you can manage different behaviour - allow or forbid incoming and outgoing calls depends of Entity state.

Before you made your call, it's always good to verify your entity stat. It will tell you what's your current outgoing/incoming state.

(1)oxe> entitystat #

# - Entity number
