Appliance Server HP 2GO

Never done the server before but only the CPU7-2 and CS2. Trying to load it but need help on;
1. Cable connections
2. Starting the PC installer
3. I connected screen and keyboard its stuck on -Uncompressing Linux...Ok, booting the kernel

Did you select the loading as appliance in pc installer?

Finally i managed to load, using the keyboard i managed to boot from the network and load the OS. Now the issue is this server has no serial port but only an iLO and USB ports. How do issue commands then?

You should load servers that are in the compatibility list. I assume this is a test system...Then why not use VmWare? You can load VmWare as blade server and you will have the screen output.

maybe he has one.
the HP DL320e G8v2 is on the crosscompatibility list and does not offer native V24 connectivity.
the v24 console connection is then done by use of ilo.
i think it was discussed here in the forum. also ther is a tc from alu about it.
on the other side you can search on hp's website.

All problems sorted, just run PC Installer as Blade Server
