Hello guys, I was playing with all these parameters you mentioned and one of my attempt was successful. I was able to make a call from cisco to alcatel. When I tried another call it failed and then I noticed that value of "Nb of digit unused (ISDN)" changes dynamically. When I set it to 0 I can make successfull call, but when refresh I see that the value is changed to 3 or 7 or 9 or 2. How can I set it permanently to 0.

Thank you.

May be another person play with your PBX? Check with "maohist" (menu 1) info about changing and with "last" command - check maybe you not alone in your PBX.

From my point of view - not easy to make not working TG:
1) Just create TG - type T2, number of digits to send 4, Q931 - ISDN all countries and declare T2 access.
2) If PBX master (network mode) - you need additional management - Shelf/board/digital access - manage Network mode=yes, Trunk groups/ trunk group - B-channel choice=yes.

Nothing more. After - you can select NPD what you need (for Calling number and DID transcoding), you can manage discriminator (instead of number of digits to send).
About number of digits unused - sometimes people confused with:
Calling number (incoming calls) - when we want to see reduced number - we delete extra digits in Translator/ external dialling plan/ ext.callback translation (f.e. we want to see on called set 1234 when CALLING number 77771234)
Called number - when we want to route call but delete some first digits (f.e. Cisco send 11114000, but in PBX we have internal numbers 4XXX)

Hello, I deleted and re-created the TG from scratch and "Number is digits unused (ISDN)" still changes after every call. Is this field related to something else which is probably misconfigured ?

Best regards.

Veeeeery strange. "who: show that only I am connected. I doubt that someone changes the value everytime I do. I did it over 50 times.

Hello again, I tried recreating TG and using QSIG, but the same. Tried also with manually setting the value initially to something different than 0, still nothing. Tried some silly things like setting the value before creating timeslots and vice versa. Absolutely nothing. Do you think this could be license related issue ? I really need to fix that.

Thank you.

sounds like an automatism. try to recreate the trunkgroup with another trunkgroup number.

Tried several time recreating the TG with different ID, but this does not help. Does anyone think this could be license problem? or we've reached maximum number v TGs ?

Thank you.

I never hear about such behaviour - when parameters like "number of digits unused" changed without external action.

If you not use scripts for automatic management.
If you have no problem with incident.
If you have no problem with database (checkdb)

Ask your ALU business partner about help (open service request).
