Check if server services are running at least.

And you want us to guess which might be the problem. Please search this forum as this has been debated many many times...

Hi
Of course , connection error is critical and several post report similar issue... Each with different root cause.
Hence some methodology is required to avoid Q&A post.

The start is comparaison:
Client on server and client on remote pc
If remote Pc cannot connect it can be a bad client installation or a firewall setup not allowing client to server connection.

Then if both client fails, look at server health

A server reboot could help without having to dig into complex analysis, log ...

If still failure then the hard way start...

All nmcxxx service started?
If not look at log files
8770/log/nmcsvcmgrX.log

It will give you the start service failure info
Like not enough space
No com with ldap db
...

Finally analysis can start by looking at the client connection process
On server, you have
a log for local client
8770/client/bin/....log

And you can also look at server log in charge of credential Check
Nmcsecurityserver

Hope this Will help you

There are child services stop the NMC Service Manager first and restart it, it should then start the child services
