CS2 doesn't startup after pull it and re-install

hi all
i have OXE R9.1 and use CS-2 board, i face this case:
the CS-2 it was working ok ,for maintenance reasons, When i pull the CS-2 board from the chassis (from its slot 8 in Rack 3) and then reinstall it in same slot it doesn't start up !!!!!!!!!!!!!
But after several attempts, or after he leaves for a period of 3-6 hours is working again

When i use CS board with same rack 3 , it work directly, and when i install CS-s in small rack it works directly also!!

Try 3 chassis rack3 and got same case

I face this same case with 2 OXE systems work with CS-2 !!!

I face the same promlem right now, did you find any solution that problem. By the way i try the case in S-rack, it is not working as well.

any good news ? i currently have the same problem as described here :

it seems hard to belive that 7(seven) different L-racks/CS-2/GD3/R10.1 would have came malfunctioning/defective.
They all worked fine untill first shutdown. They never came up after that(no character on the console port).
They seem to work fine on controller port(slot 0). but that would mean aditional RACKs which i don't have.

I got the same problem 2 weeks ago. But I've resolved the problem later. You may try to take out the CMOS Battery from CS-2 for a few minutes and then reinstall it back. And then plug CS-2 back to RACK and power on. Maybe you will find that it's working. But the system date will be change to 2005.

Hi all,
This issue is reason of faulty board. The case reported by ALU such below:

Issue reported:
CS2 board is not working at once.

Diagnosis & Solution:
CS2 work with small rack and with large rack it was not booting.
Know issue as per crms00345557.

Suggested to raise a RMA for the faulty card.


PS. My observation if you need startup immediately board, you can plug into compact cabinet (not small, only two slot inside)
