7210 update interupted

Hi all,

My 7210 got shutdown in the middle of an upgrade, it will not boot up now and my management port is useless. Please help ASAP.

The first thing to do is to establish a console connection to the switch and see how far the boot sequence is getting and what error message is being generated.

If the boot image has been trashed, the golden bootstrap image should still be available to boot from. The golden bootstrap image is not upgraded until the switch is successfully running the new software. You may need to interrupt the boot sequence from the console and boot from the network.
