Showing Calling party on External Fwd.

Post by stefanc »

Hi !

The Ext. Sign Parm: "Redirecting Number Used" seems to be non functioning on the 9.1, have tested all the parms that are about the external fwd. but no success.

a T3 trace shows that the redirected set is doing a setup with it´s number, not the origin calling party (A-number), what have I missed. I beleave that the "Redirecting Number Used "
has been working before.

snap from 4760

Redirecting number used
NO: The number displayed on a set called by T2/T0 ISDN is the source number received.
YES: The number displayed on a set called by T2/T0 ISDN is not the source number received but the redirecting number received

Thanks in advance ...

check NPD configuration. authorize private calling number must set to true.

Even if I dont use this feature in the users. (eg use private calling number), I thought this feature only was used when a user makes a external call and bypasses the DID conversion engine.
