1. If it is problem with with ring voltage it can be fixed by installing ring booster (e.g. http://www.vikingelectronics.com/produc ... hp?pid=219) or by modifing Dynamic Init Parameters for SLI (I have seen a R&D doc but it was not descriptive enough so I couldn't manage values correctly).
2. Once I had a problem with Paging Controller connected to SLI. It was not answering even after I have connected line booster. After scratching my head for some time I have figured it out. Problem was that Paging Controller couldn't understand double burst ring SLI was sending. Changing system parameters "Int.Call Ringing Cadence", "Ext.Call Ringing Cadence" didn't help, looks like it works only for digital sets, in case of calls to analogue user on SLI it always was double burst (it is easy to check putting butt set on line).
So I had to go and change cadence values for internal calls, which is tone (yes tone) number 29. By default it is 27/70, 0/20, 27/32, 0/300. I have changed it to be the same as external (tone #30)-> 27/150, 0/300. And it worked as a charm.

Hi,
The problem is definetly something with the voltage, we have checked with an MD-110 and the voltage is 48V. Fortunately the elevator technicians found a workaround playing with the intercom, now it works perfectly with the 24 V.
By the way, we had a similar problem with a Voice Hub (A4400), but in this case there is a jumper in some place (I wasn't there when they changed it) in the voice hub that can make the analog interfaces to give the required 48V.

Had this a few years back
What I ended up doing is putting a 600OHM resister in line with the tip side
it worked every time after i did that
so you place one end of the resister to the tip side the other to the answer machine the ring side is straight through
