Call routing question on OXE

Post by gazwald »

Hi,

Not sure if this is the right area, but we have a new VoIP system with an OXE I believe.

I'm looking to understand some call routing capabilities and need some assistance please. If I call the full external number of an extension from my extension, it goes out to a SIP gateway and then back in again via the same SIP gateway to the dialed extension. MY CLI is displayed on the called extension instead of my name. Is there the ability for the system to recognise the number dialed is actually connected to the system and get it to route the call direct instead of via the SIP service? Thanks.

Regards,

You can use an internal ARS route for this and define external number range in discriminator pointing to internal ars route.
