configuration jumper "jump" interface PRA2

Post by youfo007 »

Hello,

I am trying to configure strap "jump" interface PRA2.

There're settings that I have not understood as:

Link Type: symmetrical or asymmetrical. X31 and X26

IT16 signaling or IT1. X30

Power connection T2: inhibited or enabled X28

thank you

symmetrical or asymmetrical. X31 and X26
if TX bitrate Equal to Rx Bitrate so we have symetry , the inequality means asymetry for exemple adsl lines
signaling : where to extract the signaling information from IT 16 or from IT 1 of the frame.note the frame contains 32 IT (E1) or 24 IT (T1).
By strapping and jumper positions, it is possible to determine the position of the signalling TS (TS16 is the default position).

The interface can power the TNL network termination (the other interface for exemple user part)with (-48V up to 7 W) via a separate pair (power supply cut-off possible by strap x28).
