SLI16 Not ringing

proberly, you can open and replace parts in warranty as long as you are qualified and have spares.
You could swap mex1 and mex2 cables and see if fault follows physical shelf or logical shelf as a test to really point the fault at shelf hardware.

Hi Murray.

as i have mansions before that all SLI-16 in shelf 3 are not ringing. i have removed GD and CS from shelf 2 and insert to shelf 3, restart. all the analog sets are ringing in shelf 3 it means shelf 3 back panel and power supplies is good right?
but again GD and CS put it in shelf 2, no analog sets are ringing in shelf 3.

Please advise.

Okay, so if the shelf works correctly with the GD in slot 0 but won't work with the MEX in slot 0 then maybe it's a faulty mex. of hsl card.
I am assuming that the 2 shelves are connected via a HSL link and not each of them seperate GD's of course.

I mean shelf-2 GD and CS card insert to shelf-3 and from shelf-3 Max card insert to shelf-2 in this scenario all analog sets in both shelf are ringing, i am confused about that.

but again GD and CS insert to shelf-2 and Max card insert to shelf-3 all analog sets in shelf 3 are not ringing, i am totally speechless don't know what to do.

I now have this problem, I installed 120 new handsets into a major hotel and now none of them ring when connected to the same system as yours???

I dont have contract on system just handset supply, Oldboys Co. own the maintenance on it.

Were you able to find an answer to fix it as none on here seem to know how to fix it?
