Exporting Alarms for Storage

Hi All,

Have been asked to export the alarms and store them for a period of 12 months. I can see how to increase the limit to 1000000 alarms but am unable to see if it is possible to export them to be stored.

The scheduler appears to only offer to purge the alarms.

Any Ideas is this even possible?

You can increase the purge limit by changing the value of attribute purge limit for incidents available in the following place
Open the directory application and go the path nmc-><Server Name> -> Servers -> <Server Name> -> AlarmServer

Two ways of alarm backup

1) You can take 4760 server backup, in this case backup of database also taken which contains alarms db

2) Create report based on your filter and export as pdf or txt etc using Report application
