Signaling Link Backup

Post by Tha Tawa'S »

Hi,
i have a problem with Signaling Link Backup on GD-2.
I use R9.0-h1.301-38-c.
After programming according to the documentation, i have reboot my 2 GD.
WHen my GD away loose Ethernet link, my oxe tries to call it by ISDN.
But, my doesn't reboot in order to wait the incoming call, so calls are rejected.
I already tried to format and reload my GD, but it is still the same.
Has anyone had the same trouble.

Hi Tha Tawa's,
Do you have checked the config via mgconfig? Is the right access configured?
Consistency in bckdebug ok?

How do you test the link malfunction? Physical disconnect the LAN cable?

Best regards

Thank you for answering smileyman.

I have checked the config via mgconfig and this is the right access.
Consistency is ok in bckdebug.
To test, I disconnect the LAN cable to the switch.
Normally, the GD-2 has to reboot and to wait an incoming call when it can't connect the CS anymore.
But in my case, GD-2 doesn't reset and try continually to connect the CS. Continually.
Thx

If you want to have good answer - show your management.
mgconfig from GD
type of TG (central site and remote site). ISDN on both sites?
Signaling backup management.
t3 trace for outgoing calls.
