external win 2003 dhcp server config

Hi all,

OXE R.7.1 ( F.5401.36)

We want to activate the external DHCP server for the IP phones, i am facing problem in configuring the TFTP ip address in the DHCP server.

Created the new scope, IP address range and router address given. Boot server host name i have given the CS role address, but i am not getting the tftp address on my IP phone it gives 00.00.00.00.

am i missing anything in the config. plz advise thanks in advance

TC0601 on AVA contains an example of Win 2003 DHCP server setup.

DHCP-Server: Scope Options:
066 Boot Server Host Name: Call Server IP
067 Bootfile Name: with empty value

and on the cisco switches an ip-helper address "ip dhcp server"

We have found a bug in WIN2003 that dosen't work correctly with the option 43 of DHCP. The AVA doesn't work with that DHCP.
