I own an OmniPCX Office (old release) and i'm currently trying to get information about incoming and outgoing calls. It seems like I can't do it through TCP/IP without adding new licenses. But i'm supposed to be able to get the information that I need thanks to V24 metering. So I used a 4093 module with v24 interface.
Here is my configuration :
I connect the 4093 to the PBX with a RJ11/RJ45 plug.
Then I connect the V24 plug to the computer through a serial cable.
In hyperterminal I use 9600/8bits/1stop/no parity/no flow control.
On my PM5 configuration :
Metering.
Check: Ext. Accounting Activation V24
Check: Print un-answered IC calls
Type of printout: Listing
I check all the fields to be printed.
Metering Transmission Characteristics.
I select the 4093 adapter with 9600/8bits/1stop/no parity.
Then in Users list I go to the V24 module (its physical address is the one i plugged it to) and I tried with two configurations :
Part1: V24, Async, 8, none, 1, 9600, in-band, 17, 19, one, in-band,17,19
Part2: Check Input echo, Display Calling Address, 3, 43, V.25bis 108/1, Always active, Normal, RTS ign.CTS on, 0s, No Loop
AND
Part1: V24, Async, 8, none, 1, 9600, in-band, 17, 19, one, in-band,17,19
Part2: Check Input echo, Display Calling Address, 3, 43, Hayes, Always active, Normal, CTS follows RTS , 0s, No Loop
I then check my hyperterminal to get tickets but in the first case I get nothing even if I try to send some caracters to the module. In the second case I can get echo from the module and it recognizes some AT Hayes commands set such as AT or AT&V and replies with correct answers but I still can't get any metering ticket.
So I would like to know what is wrong in what I'm doing and how can I get the metering ticket thanks to the 4093 ?
Thanks in advance
