AZERTY-Keyboard on german PAC 4049

Hi everyone!

We upgraded a 4400 to OXE 7.0 f440113. Everything went well but our 4049 now only works with french keyboard settings AZERTY. No matter what we download it using he_dow_tuner. Keyboard version is 3.8 and PAC is 2.1 in all sections. We want to change it to german QWERTZ-keyboard. Anyone having an idea???

OK guys, we had some time and found the following:
unplug the UA-link, keep S1 and S6 pressed, choose language, save it, reset 4049 and be happy!

Guess what?

I wrote this myself more than three years ago........................finally found it.....................

Yes it is.........very embarrassing..........
It is also mentioned in Troubleshooting-Guide TG0008 from april 2003.
