BATMODE testing

Hi everyone.

I am facing difficulties during loading R8.i chorus. when start loading after while getting error

BATMODE TESTING, is anybody know the reason? i am waiting more then 3 hrs.

repeatedly getting same error (BATMODE TESTING)

Afeef,

Ur loading chorus where in GD or GS or GA...BATMODE test normally shows up in the GD boot when u fix it in slot 0...did u check the dip switch settings...

I am loading Chorus to CS, (cs dip switch setting on-off-off-on)(GD dip switch setting is off-on-off-off)

Afeef,

Do not try to load both cs and GD same time...fix the cs in slot 0 no need to change the dip switches leave it as default one and i hope u know the Pc installer how to use and if it's fresh hard disk enter in in the bios and select boot via ether net, if there is OS already installed in the hard disk log in to root...u can use grubbootether command ...if u can tell us exactly wht ur doing we can advise on that...

Thanks sera.

I am trying to load chorus R8.0 to new fresh hard disk, as your advise i have insert the cs in slot 0 and start pc installer. it's start lording chorus after while start cs again and display says press Ctrl B.

Go on further press Ctrl B then Ctrl I then u will be in bios menu then select Load from ethernet option u can see it in pcinstaller ur cs mac address and so on...this is well documented ..why don't u refer the TC0829 all the information in this TC...if ur facing any issues ur welcome back..

I have refer document and proceed as you say, as you know i mansions that started chorus loading and stop after while.

Sera, problem solved micro switch problem if cs insert slot 0 micro switch 1 in on all others are off.
