oxe auto attendant can't dial the speed dial numbers

Post by sera544 »

Hi all,

OXE - R.6.1.2 , we have a ISDN (T2) pilot number goes to Auto attendant, am getting the welcome msg, if i dial any extension number i can reach the extension.

AA - tree has been created as a driectory entry.

when i dial the direct speed dial numbers from AA, it dosen't work. i am using the speed dial numbers to go to the OXO which connected to OXE via ip trunk, for a check i have created my mobile number in speed dial it doesn't work also from AA.

Thanks in advance,

cheers.

Try creating a virtual z call fwd and see if that works?

It is a known limitation--->IAA is intended to dial only internal numbers. oldboy solution works--->only drawback is that you need a ghost for every remote number-->you may need additional licenses for users in OXE in order to create all ghosts.

You can try - main idea.
F.e. you have Speed dial 2 (pref IP tg+2) with call type IP - for calls to OXO.

Manage SD 3 (pref IP tg + 2) - 3 replaced by 2.
Create routing Number 2, Netw f.e. 0 (your network), Node 9 (node really not exist)
Translator/ ext. num. plan/ Node access prefix for node 9 (really not exist) - prefix to add - ARS prefix, node DID translation 3000 - 2000 - 1000.
For ARS prefix and call number 3 - manage ARS list where TG=-1.

So when you try to dial 2000 from IAA - this is "routing number" - IAA can dial this number.
Node 9 - can not be called (not exist) - PBX use "node access prefix" and dial ARS+3000.
ARS (TG=-1 - internal route) +3000 - will be used SD 3 + 000.
Will be user IP tg + number dialed 2000.
