Re: Sending dtmf from extention
If you need to send DTMF between internal extention - during confersation dial prefix "External Features DTMF end-to-end dialing" (for digital set). I prefer to use "*".
If prefix f.e. "#90" (more than one digit) - during dialing another side will hear "tone on hold" or music. If this not convenient (f.e. for IVR) - create programmed key with this prefix.

Re: Sending dtmf from extention
Hi, this may work for you but will also have a side affect... I assume that the IVR is connected on Z ports for the below.
1: set IVR ports as 4610 VPS extns
2: set the IVR to ignore the digigts sent at the beginning of the call.
When a call is passed to the IVR the type of call will be sent along with the extn number. but after that the port is open for the user to dial DTMF.

Re: Sending dtmf from extention
For analog internal set - no problem? they can use DTMF dialing (for select some items in IVR).
But for digital set - why not convenient to dial prefix "DTMF and to end dialing" (f.e. manage "*" for this feature)?
