User reported that call was cutting off after about a minute. I presumed this would be a simple cable issue or the like....however when I looked at it every time an outbound call is made after about 15 seconds voicemail would display on the screen of the phone (no prompts though so unless you were looking you would not notice) then after about 90 seconds call was cut off (rather like you reached the end of recording on the vm). Very weird config looked ok and voicemail was behaving properly. When I moved the user to another port problem went away so I assume it is a port issue and to be extra sure I was going to replace the board.
Now about a week after the original issue 3-4 other users are reporting the same issue (different boards and shelves). At this stage I am assuming a software issue but the weird thing is no software update etc has been made since an upgrade to 9 in March
Really just wondering has anyone else come upon a similar issue to this? I will be raising an e-SR anyway

Please next time make a header more appropiate, something a user can understand and see what you are trying to talk about.

Cav 9 times out of 10 when you post rather than actually try to assist (as is normal in a community forum) you have some smart ass comment or criticism. I for one am sick of it (but I guess I am not alone). Your arrogance is outstanding. Please just don't bother, this need to show how perfect you are screams of your own insecurity.

Dude, next time someone who may have the answer to your question will read "So this started as a simple problem....." and just will go forward because the topic has nothing usefull to identify what you are asking help for. So just go ahead.

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

I'm relax, no desire to fight, just pointing what is wrong with his question, as we used to say: "help us to help you"
pd: Alex, didn't understand you at all
too much censorship!

Re: So this started as a simple problem.....
ok - slightly late on the uptake here so please forgive me.
1. The OP (bouncer) post is an interesting problem - whats the latest bouncer? patch 27 is old news now. Have you patched up and made any headway?
2. I'm going to have to backup Cav's comment... the subject header is poor. Most probs I've had in the last few posts I've made could qualify for the same subject title
But for some strange reason, I've always remebered one of Franks requirements "Please use an appropriate subject title" for the very reason Cav mentioned.
3. Your comments about Cav's attitude give me cause for concern - mainly because I see where you are coming from... but also because I know Cav personally having had the pleasure of meeting him face to face. Forgive me Cav, but bouncer, I think the problem lies in the fact that Cavs command of English lends most of its wight to hard facts... EG, his primary english response is to "get to the point" without regard of pleasantries. EG, had you have posted in Spanish, his response would have included a few pleasantries. Still - it never stopped me from labelling him a lousy drunk for messing up a fine London Underground Tube Train
My analysis could be wrong (so shoot me Cav!) but from what I know... Cav aint here to piss anyone off.
4. So, an alternative subject line could've been - "Outbound call cutting off 90sec after display splashes text 'Voicemail'" because trust me - the next time I see a poster use "I have a little problem" Frank will be deleting my account after he reads my response

What kind of external lines? Traces of such a call? Incidents in incvisu?

Re: So this started as a simple problem.....
and now we are back on topic..
I too have an issue with calls cutting of in R9 and I have raised an eSR.
My problem manifests itself differently.
Users with 4028 sets have 2 multiline keys. They are in a Circular HG with 1000% camp-on. It is a very busy group and almost always there will be calls waiting. When these guys are on the phone, and it seems when a new call arrives (and waits) one of the 4028's that is in conversation will just lose his caller in mid conversation.
Now, when I remove the second multiline key, the problem disappears!
Inbound calls arrive on a T2 and route to IAA. Option 2 takes caller to new leaf. Option 1 in new leaf routes caller to Entity Call Pref. Entity CDT night1 and night2 routes call to HG.
No apparent incidents to see.
