I am deploying phones for a fire department.
They need to receive the caller ID even if it is secret.
The operator say the configure the T2 to do this.
When I trace the primary, I always see the caller/called number but it did not show on the phone screen.
As far as I know their is field in the trace for the secret option, do you know wich it is?
Is their something I must program in the oxe (r8) to reveal the number?
PS: unmasked numbers are shown correctly.

Re: caller ID overdrive
About field:
you have f.e. "Calling number 01 81: 1234567890"
If caller order "secret identity" feature you will have "Calling number 01 a1: 1234567890"
81 (or a1) - we have 8 bits,
bits 7 and 6
00 presentation allowed
01 presentation restricted
10 number not availiable due to internetworking
11 reserved

Re: caller ID overdrive
Here what I found in my traces
a1 10100001
a3 10100011
80 10000000
81 10000001
If I take bit 7 and 6 (right to left, starting at 0), all have the value 10?
From the test I have made 8x is ID is clear, Ax is secret.
Could you explain me some more or maybe tell me if you have a "how to read traces for noobs"!
Anyway, thanks for the quick answer!

Re: caller ID overdrive
You need to order specific license from ALU, this licence is not covered by ACTIS.intheskin wrote:Is their something I must program in the oxe (r8) to reveal the number?
Re: caller ID overdrive
you need OPS lock 95, not visible in spadmin / Actis
