I need to send a NAME along with my caller id

I have searched the manual for this but can only find info on CNIP. This reads as if it is an internal function. I have a need to pass the calling party number and a name out over PRI, IP, and, SIP triunks. Can anyone provide me some guidance? This is on an OXE r8.

And your other party does know how to receive the NAME (alphabetic caller id) over PRI line?
(i've done it only once and i was connecting asterisk softswitch to OXE R7.1).

What is type of remote PBX?
H323 and SIP support name presentation for IP trunks.
For digital access QSIG-GF supports name presentation (to my mind).

This issue has become moot. My local provider cannot process it at this time. Thanks to all!
