On OXO startup, the CPU goes into some cyclic procedure. The FAN never comes on. The system starts ok with another CPU. Any idea how to go about this?

Re: CPU OXO
This is how I deal with this kind of problems: (which by the way ocure in the following sequence of events: powefailure, OXO stays on battery, shut down by itself, on battery low, power on, booting, while booting 2nd powerfailure )
First you can try to unplug the power cable from the back of the PBX while booting the system. This equivalates as I remarqued with a cold reset. After that (if it works) you can start up the system from the beginning and then restore a backup database.
If this doesn't work you must use LOLA to upload a new OS (must be the same release as the preavious) into the OXO. See the documentation related to this (not very simple but not very hard eather). Then backup restore.
