Installing OXE on VMware

Post by Nick_DUP »

Hi Guys,

Would any of you guys have any links, instructions or guides on installing OXE within a VMWare workstation enviroment running on a Windows XP sp4 PC. So far i've installed VM workstaion and disabled windows firewall on the PC as suggested on posts. Also created a VM enviroment to install all within. Dont know how to install linux and oxe on the vmware should a file be within the R7.xx. xxxxxxx folder?

im totally new to this and dont know where to start.

thank you,
cavagnaro

cheers alex i appreciate your help, i've followed the instructions on the link you provided but when i reach "Step 3 : Configure the OmniPCX Entreprise Installer" im getting a 'C.' no valid call handling delivery found on this drive please insert a CD-ROM in the matching drive error message. it sounds like its looking for a specific file on the top level of my c or cd-rom drive see screen shot. i've moved various files to c drive from the Rx.xx xxxxx folder but no joy any ideas suggestions :-)
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Please, before posting anything else, download the documentation and at least take the job for reading it, there is explained how you have to use even the PC Installer.
As I always say, we are not parrots or your eyes to read what you don't want to do.
