Hello friends.
Does anybody have an information about how the OXE works or comunicates with Fidelio.
Recently I did a migration and the client has report that, some times the comunication between the oxe and fidelio is not working.
Before the migration it was working ok.
I have search information about how oxe and fidelio interconect or work together, and how to configure but I have nothing. I think that during the migration, some paremeter goes to default, but, I have never work with fidelio integration, so, Im a little bit lost.
OXE: rel 8.0
Fidelio: rel 7.13
Thanks for your help.
Regards

Re: Oxe and Fidelio
I'm not sure what release of Fidelio my customer is on, but his OXE is R6.1.1 and I have no issues. What did you migrate from? Did they switch Fidelio release as well?
I had no special configuration for the serial link to Fidelio. I would recommend checking the incidents on the OXE, as well as getting in touch with whom ever supports your customers Fidelio. They would be able to shed some light on what is not exactly right.
As far as incidents go, are there any that stick out on your OXE?

Hello torrentula.
The systems was migrated from A4400 R3.2.
The Fidelio soft, has not been swich.
One of the things that I want to know is if the Fidelio Rel 7.13 is compatible with the OXE Rel 7.1 but I have not found yet anything that says that.
Can you give me some configurations to check, as you have oh your system, no matter if your system is 6.1?. Al least it is Oxe too.
I have search information about configuration the OXE and Fidelio but nothing found.
Thanks for your reply. I will see the incidents.
Another trouble is that, its works fine most of the time but some times it doesn´t
regards

Re: Oxe and Fidelio
i manage several installations in various hotels with oxe 5.1 - 6.2. everything works just fine. by the way, you can check what happens on IFC machine at Fidelio side. i have only one complane from customer about seldom lost information between IFC and OXE, but that was case when customer use his own IP to COM converter, not MOXA box. this converter also manage exchange with pay TV equipment and key system, so possible problem was with driver at OPERA-Fidelio side.
