Answering myself, I managed to get ahold of the most updated firmware to date for the AP1101 (4.0.8.16)
I have copied to my Google Drive to be able to share it with anyone interested. See link below.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1QFN7FL ... sp=sharing

As for this update, I have been informed of the following which you should note:
The most recent version for AP1101 is 4.0.8.16. Please note 4.0.8 is supported only in Cluster and OVNG mode.

Modes of Operation for Stellar APs
  • Cluster Mode
    What it is:
This is the “Express” or controllerless mode where a group of APs (a cluster) manage themselves without an external controller or OmniVista 2500.
One AP in the cluster acts as the virtual controller, holding the config and syncing it with the others.
    When used:
Small to medium deployments (e.g., offices, schools, small hospitality venues) with up to 64 APs.
    Key point for 4.0.8:
AWOS 4.0.8 for the AP1101 works in this mode, so you can still run it in a self-contained wireless network.
  • OVNG Mode (OmniVista NextGen / OmniVista Cirrus)
    What it is:
This is cloud-managed mode — your APs are managed from OmniVista Cirrus (the cloud platform) or OmniVista NextGen.
Configurations, firmware updates, and monitoring are done centrally from the cloud dashboard.
    When used:
Medium to large deployments or multi-site setups where cloud management and central control are preferred.
    Key point for 4.0.8:
The AP1101 running AWOS 4.0.8 can be managed directly by OmniVista Cirrus 10.4.2.
  • Unsupported for 4.0.8 – OV2500 Mode
    What it is:
This is the on-premises network management system (OmniVista 2500) mode.
APs report to and are configured via a local OmniVista 2500 server.
    Why not supported:
The AP1101 with AWOS 4.0.8 isn’t certified for OmniVista 2500. If you’re running OV2500, you’d need to stick with an earlier AWOS version that still supports it.
In short:
If you upgrade your AP1101 to AWOS 4.0.8, you must run it in:
Cluster (Express) mode, or
OmniVista Cirrus (OVNG) cloud-managed mode
It will not work with OmniVista 2500 on-premises management in this version.
