Hi everybody ,
I use ericcson g35 fcties and oxe r6.2 . In fct datasheet it says The trunk card must support either Busy Tone Detection (BTD) or Polarity Reversal Detection on answer and release. How can I enable these detections bu using 4760i ?
thanks for your replies
how to enable Polarity Reversal Detection
Re: how to enable Polarity Reversal Detection
For busy tone detection - Search on this site "DTO joining" (my post).
For battery inversion - External services/ Trunk COS. For COS used in TG uncheck "Battery inversion masking" and manage nessesary masking rules.

GO To ......> EXTERNAL SERVICSE/TRUNK COS
1. Battery inversion masking
The battery inversion masking concerns the reversal of the polarity when the called party answers, and the reversal of the polarity when the called party goes on-hook.
2. Masking release
All battery inversions can be masked except the first which indicates hook-off.
You can use above two parameters as a combination which will give you different outputs. Please find below output
Combination A
Battery inversion masking: NO
Masking release of battery (inversion): NO
Outgoing call: the 1st battery inversion is recognised as the response signal and the 2nd battery inversion is recognised as the release signal.
Incoming call: the 1st battery inversion is recognised as the release signal.
Combination B
Battery inversion masking: YES
Masking release of battery (inversion): NO
The 1st battery inversion id recognised as the release signal. Any other battery inversions are not recognised.
Combination C
Battery inversion masking: NO
Masking release of battery (inversion): YES
Outgoing call; the 1st battery inversion is recognised as the response signal
Incoming call: the battery inversions are not processed.
Combination D
Battery inversion masking: YES
Masking release of battery (inversion): YES
The battery inversions are not processed.
Activate the parameter as your requirement

Re: how to enable Polarity Reversal Detection
thanks
my problem is with fct and oxe and the same with the topic I mentioned above. And as I see they have solved the problem by changing some parameters. How can I solve that problem ( my firmware is Turkey ) in that way.
