Unable to reach IP GESTION OMNIPCX

Post by fab38 »

Hello, I have an omnicpx Enterprise Large and I have a big problem.

Following a power outage, when restarting the TOUCHE IP telephones no longer work and I can no longer reach the IP of the management interface.

What is the solution to join the management interface?

Thank you very much for your help !!

Hello
1) Your post has been moved to the correct forum (from OXO to OXE)
2) Most likely network issue. Do a port mirroring on the port, or trace on the OXE to see if you see DHCP and/or TFTP BOOT requests.

thank you for your response franck

for having analyzed the network by connecting a port, my omniPCX receives tftp requests from IPTOUCH telephones, but my OmniPCX does not respond to them and I no longer have access via ssh or to the web management interface.

So some things hadn't turned on correctly, or it had reset, but I don't have the default IP for this model ..

You have problem with CS-2 board. On your photo - LED LAN1 and UNIT1 - turn off (ethernet interface not works).

Hello vald, thank you for your help,

yes "LAN1" and "UNIT1" are turned off.
I found an old photo of the functional installation with "LAN1" and "UNIT1" ok, with the same connections which confirms to me that the wiring is good.

My "Lan1" interface is deactivated and I don't see how to reactivate it without having access to a CS-2 configuration interface. How can I reactivate the "Lan1" interface ?

You most likely did not deactivate the lan1 from the OS.
Connect a console port, and see if the unit boots correcly.

Frank, I don't have a compatible serial-RJ45 cable to connect to the console port.
Are there other options for having a management interface? or what type of compatible cable should I buy to connect to the device?

thx.

See attached files for correct 9 pin wiring.
OXE Console port <- RJ45 - Customized 9Pin connector -> Adapter to USB -> your laptop

thank you for the clarification.

I managed to connect to the serial port, I come directly to grub, what commands can I use to launch the system?

It looks like there is no Operating System on this HD.
If you are tech savvy there are way to mount and look at the partitions to see if they are salvageable.
If not, you most likely have to reinstall everything.
