Good day
I am configuring SNMP, with the following commands, however when I try them, SNMP does not work, will anyone know any configuration that I am missing.
user usersnmpv3 password ******** read-only all sha*des
snmp security no-security
snmp community-map mode enable
snmp community-map namecommunity user usersnmpv3 enable
snmp station 192.168.0.12 usersnmpv3 v3 enable
snmp-trap absorption enable
snmp-trap to web-view enable
The switch is model OS6900-X40, it has version 7.3.4.212.R02 Service Release
Falla configuración SNMP
Re: Falla configuración SNMP
aaa authentication snmp local
this 3 commands are only for snmp v1/v2. You don't need them:
snmp security no-security
snmp community-map mode enable
snmp community-map namecommunity user usersnmpv3 enable
Your used release is very old.....

Re: Falla configuración SNMP
Already perform these configurations and try however even so the SNMP is not working.
Also confirm that the snmp port was enabled, some configuration recommendations or Troubleshooting

Re: Falla configuración SNMP
The first thing to do here is upgrade the firmware. 7.3.4 is more than just outdated, its ancient.
Also, we're missing a network topology here. Are you trying snmp locally? A sniffer would help to see what's happening.
