Mobile VLAN Tag

Post by fan »

Hey guys!

I'm a bit new to 6860E. I used 6850 before, but the syntax has changed "somewhat"?

I don't understand how to get my mobile VLAN tag working again.

We just used Mobileport and the rest was done with AAA configuration.

I've searched a lot on this forum and configuration guides but maybe I asked the wrong questions....

This UNP is completely new to me and I don't understand it ^^

I need a solution to get VLANs out of MAC/802.1x authentication...

To be honest, I feel a bit stupid :/

difficult to write it down in some words - look for more informations in the network guide.
you need profiles, map this to the vlans
Best way with authentication is to use RADIUS attribut filter-id (the same like in R6). This has to be the name of the profile.
you need the known aaa radius server and an aaa profile with this server
Than create a unp port-template with authentication, a default-profile (if auth fails) and the associated aaa profile.
The ports as unp bridge and bind the the template to them.......
