Deskphone 8018 keep rebooting

Hi,

I have problem with deskphone 8018.

When i turn on phone, its getting welcome, then led indication get orange, then reboot, and keep repeating that sequence.

Is there a way to flash firmware in ip deskphone?

It is not even booting in the first step. You wont be able to set IP parameters as suggested, and as far as I know firmware download is done via TFTP.

Did you do an upgrade? Or was this like that out of the box?

Same problem here. Cant use the phone.

Try holding buttons 1, 3, 8, 0, at the same time while plugging the phone in, keep pressing these buttons for 30 seconds. The phone should then progress into the 1 , 2 start up sequence.

alcatel lucent 8001 phone intializing problem, only showing initializing ,

i had the same issue with a 8001 set,, what i did was i used a injector and switched it on and for some reason the phone came up in service, once up i immediately upgraded the firmware. but yes some times i find the phone set lagging and freezing. but unpluging and plugin again its comes up some how.
